 | PAPER MAGAZINE X SHEPARD FAIREY GUEST EDITOR
I am proud to announce that the PAPER magazine issue I guest edited is now on the newsstand. I am the first guest editor in PAPER's 26 year history and I was honored to make a creative and conceptual contribution to a magazine I've been a fan of for so many years. I'd like to think that the collaborative nature of this PAPER issue, including the cover I designed with Friends With You and the illustration I created to accompany Carlo McCormick's insightful essay, make the issue somewhat of a collector's item. By the way, if you check out the linked articles, you'll find the story of how I first connected with Carlo(who hooked up my first art in a NY gallery) and the rest of the PAPER crew.
Pretend we still live in a world where people value tangible, non-virtual, objects and indulge my ego and your nostalgia by buying the PAPER issue and supporting a great magazine that has always supported me, and the culture we all love.
