 | MARK DEMSTEADER @ RED PROPELLER |
Mutually attracted by each others distinctive style we are really excited to be working with Mark Demsteader. Hailing from Manchester and emerging as one of Britain's finest figurative painters - our attention was first drawn to Mark when we heard that at 19 he went into butchering and it was his daily life for over ten years - we became increasingly intrigued when we came across soundbites like this 'I used to do sketches down the meat market of sides of beef and things like that - that did help. I developed a way of studying form and the structure of it' Further evidence that the Urban and Fine Art world are seamlessly merging Red Propeller and Mark Demsteader are looking forward to doing exciting things together in the future - take a look - his work is just so totally beautiful! As many of you already know we are now on Facebook, Twitter and have our very own 'Uncut' Red Propeller Blog all thanks to the very wonderful Mel who recently joined us - she will be covering behind the scenes at Red Propeller and keeping you up to date with all events, happenings and exclusives - check out our blog here. and follow us on facebook | NEW WORK IN FROM ANGEL 41 Yet another serious talent emerging from Manchester is Angel 41.
